Soft seat sealing with fire-tested safety

For applications invloving flammable media, the patented dual component seat offers both superior sealing and tested security.

Numerous test results demonstrate this valve's ability to meet the requirements of API-607 Fourth Edition and BS 6755 Part2, 1987.

The seat combines PTFE and metal sealing elements. It establishes both a PTFE-to-metal seal and dual metal to metal seal.

Continuous Sealing

	Normal operation, forward flow. The axial movement produces a simple, leak tight seal. As pressure increases, the seal tightens.
	Normal operation, reverse flow. Bi-directional flow and shut-off are easily accommodated. The same axial movement of the seat asures sealing in either direction.
	In a fire emergency. As the PTFE portion of the seat deteriorates, the metal portion of the seat maintains the integrity of the seal. There is no interruption of the seal.
